Admission Requirements
2026/2027 Admissions to the II level Master in Intestinal Ultrasound in Inflammatory Bowel Disease are now open!
Prerequisites to be eligible are:
1) Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery, with qualification to practice
3) Best suited candidates hold a Specialization in Digestive Diseases (up-to-date title for Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy), Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
Application
Applications are now open from June 30th, 2026 (02:00 PM) to October 20th, 2026 (11:59 PM), through the online application portal PICA.CINECA.UNISR (master code: master2026-13).
In order to complete your application, please prepare the following documents in PDF format (max 30Mbyte) to be uploded:
- Self-declaration or certificate of the Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery;
- Self-declaration or certificate of the qualification to practice;
- Self-declaration or certificate of the Specialization in Digestive Diseases (up-to-date title for Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy), Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology;
- Signed Academic and Professional Curriculum Vitae;
- Relevant Scientific Pubblications;
- Copy of a valid identification document.
International Candidates are additionally requested to provide:
- Legalized translation of the Degree Diploma;
- Declaration of Value (to be issued by the Italian Embassy/Consulate where the degree was obtained) or the Statement of Comparability and Verification issued by CIMEA.
Should you not be able to complete your application in one session, you can access the admission portal several times in order to do so. Once the application is submitted, you will receive a confimation email/integration request from UniSR Master Office.
Evaluation and feedback will take place once admissions will be closed.
A professional medical insurance will be requested upon enrollment.
Evaluation and Feedback
The access to the Master Program is based on an evaluation of the candidate's academic and professional titles.
The Evaluation Board will use the following criteria to establish the Admission Ranking:
- Title of Specialization: maximum 3 points (3 points for the Specialization in Digestive Diseases; 2 points for Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology; 1 point for Emergency Medicine and Critical Care Medicine);
- Other qualifications: maximum 1 point;
- Academic and Professional Curriculum: maximum 3 points;
- Scientific Publications: maximum 3 points.
Maximum achievable points: 10.
Once the qualifications-based evaluation is complete, in the section Admissions Ranking and Enrollment will be published the ranking list with admitted candidates, followed by candidates who are suitable but not high enough in the ranking and subsequentey, candidates who are not admitted.
