The Interdisciplinary Research Center in the History of Ideas (CRISI) is devoted to study, research, and education in the field of intellectual history. The Center promotes a broad, interdisciplinary approach, following the path opened by Arthur O. Lovejoy and later developed by thinkers such as Michel Foucault, Hans Blumenberg, and Richard Rorty. CRISI functions as a research laboratory and a space for dialogue across disciplines. Its aim is to reconstruct the genealogy of ideas and investigate conceptual transformations within their diverse historical, cultural, artistic, and symbolic contexts. The Center serves as a meeting ground for philosophers, historians, and scholars in the humanities and social sciences, committed to reading the present critically through a deep understanding of the intellectual past.
