Theoretical and practical Course in pediatric echocardiography with neonatal simulator (Basic Level)

In cooperation with:

Learning Objectives

Echocardiographic assessment of patients with congenital heart disease may be required in a wide range of clinical settings—from neonatal pathology to emergency care, from paediatrics to sports medicine.

Moreover, it is common for non-specialist cardiologists to deal with patients who often have unique anatomical and pathophysiological features, sometimes due to surgical and/or interventional treatment. Given this context, specialized training programs become essential.

This Course aims to provide participants with the skills to perform and interpret echocardiographic studies in order to deal with congenital heart diseases, both in their natural progression and after treatment. Special attention is given to identifying key data that support clinical decision-making.

Target

A basic knowledge of echocardiography is recommended to attend the Course.

The Course is open to cardiologists, pediatric cardiologists, neonatologists, cardiac anesthesiologists, sports medicine doctors, and echocardiography technicians.
