Vita-Salute San Raffaele University officially announces the call for elections to renew student representation within Bachelor’s Degree Councils, Master’s Degree Councils, and Faculty Councils for the 2026/2027 academic year. 

This is an important opportunity for all students to make their voices heard, actively contribute to academic life, and influence decisions that shape their university experience. Student participation is essential to ensure the continuous improvement of academic programs, facilities, and services.

The role of Student Representatives

Elected representatives will: 

  • Actively participate in Degree and Faculty Council meetings 
  • Submit proposals to improve university services 
  • Advocate for students’ needs and concerns 
  • Collaborate with faculty and administration to foster an increasingly innovative and inclusive university 
  • Promote a stimulating and participatory learning environment 

Being a student representative means taking on an important responsibility toward the entire student community, contributing to decision-making and university policies. 

How to apply?

All students interested in running as representatives are invited to consult the Rector’s Decree and submit their application online by presenting a list that includes name and logo. Applications are open from Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 9.00 AM to Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 12.00 PM, and must be submitted  in accordance with the procedures outlined by the University, via the dedicated application platform

Voting dates and procedures

Voting will take place online, allowing students to cast their vote easily and accessibly from any device (PC, smartphone, tablet). 

Online voting will be open: 

Wednesday, May 20, 2026 → from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 

Thursday, May 21, 2026 → from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM 

Employing an online format ensures convenient remote participation and encourages broad democratic engagement in university life. 

Who can vote?

All students duly enrolled at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University for the 2025/2026 academic year are eligible to vote.

  • To ensure strong and informed student representation 
  • To have a voice in decisions affecting teaching and university life 
  • To contribute to improving services and activities 
  • To foster constructive dialogue between students, faculty, and university services

Governing bodies and number of representatives

The elections concern student representatives in the following academic bodies: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Councils
  • Master’s Degree Councils
  • Faculty Councils

Number of elected representatives:

  • Faculty Councils2 representatives per Council 
  • Bachelor’s Degree Councils 3 representatives per Council, or 5 if enrollment exceeds 2,000 students 
  • Master’s Degree Councils3 representatives per Council, or 5 if enrollment exceeds 2,000 students
